what on earth is this you ask? well it's a little present i made for joseph to help count down the weeks until he can quit his job....it's like those chain links you make a christmas to count down the days. the goal joseph made for himself is to stay with his job until the end of july, and at that point he'll have made enough money to completely pay off school, and so he can quit without having to worry about how to pay for school. of course, he's free to quit at any time, but i know he'll feel better when he doesn't have to worry about paying for school. that's one thing i appreciate about him is his way of handling our finances. it's silly, but i just never got good at keeping track of that stuff when i was single, so it's nice to be married to someone who is responsible with our money and likes to take care of all of that.

so this chain is hanging on our front door and at the end of each week he gets to tear off a link. only 23 more to go...
